HHS has updated its health care web portal that provides information for consumers about public and private health coverage options available. The web site now offers information that wasn't previously made public - like price estimates for private insurance policies, as well as statistics about how many applicants have been denied coverage, and how many were charged higher premiums because of health status. Consumers can also search and compare benefits and premium rating information about plans available to them.
